Escapade on Wilshire, organ solo

Escapade on Wilshire (1977), portrays the pipe organ at the Wilshire United Methodist Church in Los Angeles having a “fling.” The style is recitative with a tempo mark of giocoso and contrasting, often dissonant sonorities which engage in a playful, sometimes mock-heroic dialogue. (Formerly “Diversion for Organ.”)
